For Hampton Roads couples

A Countryside Estate Wedding for Virginia Beach and Williamsburg Couples

trade the coast for rolling hills

Hampton Roads has beautiful waterfront and historic wedding venues. Northfield Estate offers something the coast can't: a private 50-acre estate in central Virginia, with a white manor house, a ballroom, a sailcloth tent for up to 200 guests, and rolling fields in every direction.

From Williamsburg the drive is about two hours; from Virginia Beach and Norfolk, closer to three. That's why most Hampton Roads couples book a weekend package and stay at the estate from Friday to Sunday.

A Weekend Away From the Coast

A countryside weekend gives your guests a reason to travel and your celebration room to breathe: a Friday rehearsal on the grounds, the wedding Saturday, and a slow Sunday morning on the terrace. Only one wedding is on the estate at a time.
