The getting ready space is not just a room; it's a sanctuary where the bride and groom can immerse themselves in the excitement of the day ahead while surrounded by the love and support of their closest friends and family. Sip on some champagne with your girls in our vast bridal suite complete with plush couches, armchairs, floor length mirror, and private full bathroom while the guys lounge on leather sofas watching tv, sipping a cocktail at the bar, or playing foosball in a separate groom's cottage.

Getting Ready Spaces

Whether you prefer an indoor or outdoor ceremony or are stressed about rain, we have options to accommodate them all.  Our outdoor ceremony spaces feature a 300 year-old willow tree you'll walk down the aisle towards or a lower terrace patio that you'll enter by grand staircase.  If you prefer an indoor ceremony a grand ballroom with gleaming hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, and floor to ceiling windows that provide tons of natural light await, ready to host celebrations filled with laughter and joy.  No matter which option you choose there's a nod to tradition and a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences.

The cocktail hour is a delightful blend of charm and culinary indulgence, set against a backdrop of picturesque landscapes and warm hospitality.  Imagine guests mingling on our stone terrace, under the shade of towering trees, or in the estate's refined ballroom sipping on refreshing drinks served in mason jars or elegant glassware. 

Cocktail Hour

Picture a spacious, billowing tent crafted from translucent sailcloth, allowing soft, natural light to filter through during the day and creating a warm, inviting glow as evening falls. Our elegant 5900 sq. ft. sailcloth reception tent (available April-November), provides a gorgeous backdrop of the Virginia countryside and  creates a magical atmosphere that is both timeless and unforgettable. Inside, the tent brings your vision of lush floral arrangements, detailed tablescapes, delicate drapery, and romantic lighting to life as guests are treated to a feast of gourmet cuisine beneath twinkling stars. If you have a smaller reception our grand ballroom inside the estate can accommodate up to 60 guests.
