The same estate couples marry at is yours by the hour for the celebrations in between: a shower in the chandeliered ballroom, an anniversary dinner on the terraces, a reunion or company party under the sailcloth tent. Only one event is on the estate at a time.

Event Packages
Every rental includes an hour before your event and an hour after, when our team sets up and clears the tables and chairs. These are the most common lengths; any length over 4 hours is $450 an hour.

The Ballroom
75 seated, 120 standing
The main floor of the manor: the 4,200 sq ft chandeliered ballroom, sitting room, and dining room, with the kitchen for your caterer. Year-round.
The Terraces
Cocktails and mingling
Two stone terraces, 3,400 sq ft in all, step down from the manor toward the fields, for a cocktail hour or an evening outside.
The Sailcloth Tent
Up to 200 seated
A 5,800 sq ft sailcloth tent with draping and lighting, April through November.

Private Event Questions
How much does it cost to rent Northfield Estate for a private event?
$450 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum ($1,800). The hours include one hour before your event and one hour after, when our team sets up and breaks down the tables and chairs, so a two-hour event is a 4-hour rental.
What kinds of events do you host?
Bridal and baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, family reunions, celebrations of life, holiday parties, and company dinners. Weddings are booked separately; see our pricing page.
How many guests can we invite?
The ballroom holds 75 guests seated or 120 standing. The sailcloth tent seats up to 200, April through November.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. Choose any licensed, full-service caterer; they'll have the use of the estate kitchen. For a bar, hire a licensed and insured bartending service.
What's included?
Tables and chairs for your guest count, set up and broken down by our team, the restrooms on the main floor and lower terrace, and parking for 85 cars. The cottage, a private lounge with a full bath, can be added for $700.
How late can our event run?
Events end by 10:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 9 pm Sunday through Thursday. Extra time can be added at $450 per hour.
How do we reserve a date?
Half of the rental fee reserves your date, and the balance is due 30 days before the event, along with a refundable $1,500 security deposit.
Can we bring our dog?
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome outdoors with our approval in advance.
