We’re excited to share the details of our recent Estate Ballroom Renovation Project at our Virginia Estate wedding venue! This renovation has transformed our ballroom into a stunning and elegant space. Our goal was to create a venue that combines timeless elegance with modern amenities, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. Removal of the Bedroom Floor Above the Ballroom

The renovation began with the removal of the floor of the bedroom that was located above the ballroom. This change has dramatically increased the ceiling height, adding a sense of grandeur and openness to the space.

Installation of Floor-to-Ceiling Windows

To bring in an abundance of natural light and create a beautiful connection with the outdoors, we installed floor-to-ceiling windows. These windows not only flood the ballroom with sunlight but also offer picturesque views of the surrounding estate grounds. The natural light creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, making the space feel even more luxurious.

Custom Trim Work

Attention to detail was not overlooked in this renovation. We added custom trim work to the door frames, walls, and the mantle, enhancing the architectural beauty of the ballroom. The intricate trim work elevates the overall aesthetic of the room.

Hanging of Crystal Chandeliers with Decorative Ceiling Medallions

No grand ballroom is complete without a stunning chandelier. We installed three magnificent crystal chandeliers, which serves as centerpieces of the room. To complement the chandeliers, we added decorative ceiling medallions that enhance the overall design and draw the eye upward, emphasizing the room’s height.

Sanding and Staining of Original Hardwood Floors

Preserving the historical charm of the estate was important to us. We sanded and stained the original hardwood floors, restoring them to their former glory. The rich, warm tones of the stained floors add character to the ballroom, providing a beautiful foundation for any wedding aesthetic.
